"My big thing is to see the martial arts of Jiu Jitsu sport grow in Hawkes Bay. We have expanded our jits training facilities and upgraded the mats we train on, so we now we can run official New Zealand wide jiu jitsu competitions."

Our kids teams are improving and carving up nationals 2 years in a row now. Our students here can become real champions. I know these kids will win real titles they’re going to kick ass. It’s just science man, it’s just 1 + 1 again and passion.
OUR KIDS WILL BE CHAMPIONS AT JIU JITSU
"When you can put the passion in the kids and their minds are so open and they believe these things, I know we will produce real martial arts champions in the next 3-5 years out of Hawkes Bay. We are putting New Zealand on the map with Jiu Jitsu and that's an amazing thing to be part of."
MARTIAL ARTS TEACHES DISCIPLINE AND PURPOSE
To see the confidence growing in the kids to have grandparents come in and just go man it’s so fantastic the way their lives have changed and the way they run in the house and stuff and greet the grandparents. This mean little kid just turned into this you know happy person so it once again orients that stuff and puts a spark back into them and that stuff I like way more than anything else.
